The periodic table of elements is a table which shows the arrangement of chemical elements ordered by atomic numbers in columns and rows. It turned out invented by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869 to determine the periodic trends inside the properties of elements.

Sun and rain are listed in keeping with their increasing atomic numbers. Rows are arranged in a manner that elements with similar properties fall under a similar vertical columns. The groups or columns are numbered 1-18. The arrangement is Group 1(alkali metals), Group 2(alkaline earth metals), Group 15 (pnicogens), Group 16(chalcogens), Group 17(halogens) and Group 18(noble gases). There are a few groups that enjoy non-systematic names as well. Not alone would be the groups around the periodic table, a few other groupings of elements often named as well. They're lanthanoids and actinoids.
